Land Lease Communities: Rules and the Ontario Residential Tenancies Act

The Ontario Court of Appeal , in the following decision, agreed with the Divisional Court that under s.154(1) of the Ontario Residential Tenancies Act, the landlord can enact community rules , provided that proper notice is given to the tenants. In this case a rule about canvas sheds was enacted, which the moving parties disobeyed.
